Q: Where’d the idea for Neptune Conjunct the Moon originate?
A: In 2020 my father passed and shortly after I sold my belongings and began to live abroad. I began documenting my life on film quite heavily, and the images with my own reflections began to form a possibility for a book.
Q: How’d you come up with the title?
A: As a closet astrologer (I read charts for myself and friends) I began tracking my own planetary transits and found a profound correlation with Neptune transiting over my natal moon, and the impact it had on my life the last few years. I felt it was a great theme to blanket my work with.
Q: What impact do you hope this book has?A: I hope that it's a relatable piece for anyone that's healing from loss, searching for a piece of themself, or looking to give themselves permission to find their own way in the world.
Q: Who’s the biggest influence on your work?
A: OOf, this is tough. I give a lot of credit to my parents for raising us to be independent. My mom for her bravery, and my dad for his ability to always be himself.
